Valentine's Eve: Creating Gifts

There has been a lot of tracing, cutting, stitching, glueing, glittering
and the like going on around here.

Nothing makes me happier than to hear a little voice
asking me what can we make for Daddy.

There has been a lot of tracing, cutting, stitching, glueing, glittering and the like going on around here. Nothing makes me happier than to have a little voice asking me what can we make for Daddy.

Kimba embroidered pillows and gave them to his cousins.

For a couple of weeks the floor was sporting little emboidery threads of all colors.  The joy of having a creative son...
And there has been a plethora of activity in other crafting areas, too!

These are the Valentine's Day Cards,  ready to go.

Each year my Tasha Tudor book comes out... I was busy making my own sweet valentines, and Kimba  jumped on the bandwagon to get his own done, too.

Valentine's Day at school
Kimba's valentines are for all our friends in the local nursing home, whom we regularly visit. You would have thought we gave these darling people a chest of gold, they are so thrilled!

We also buy them a pink carnation with a bit of baby's breath,  and give it with the handmade card!   Memories are made of this!

Kimba loves blessing all his friends with his handmades.
